After years of working as autobody estimators for major insurance companies, two industry veterans, Camren and Michael, recognized a pressing issue: small auto repair shops often struggled to secure fair compensation for their work. Through their careers, they witnessed firsthand how large insurance firms capitalized on the inexperience of these smaller shops, frequently undervaluing labor rates and repair hours. This disparity left many capable businesses at a disadvantage, unable to thrive in a competitive market that favored larger operations with more resources and negotiating power.

Motivated by a desire to empower these shops, Camren and Michael "Mike", founded Estimate Engine, a company dedicated to ensuring that every repair shop receives accurate and fair payments for their services. By leveraging their extensive knowledge of industry standards, labor rates, and repair processes, they created a platform that streamlines the estimating process, helping shops navigate the complexities of insurance claims with confidence. With Estimate Engine, they aim to level the playing field, providing smaller shops with the tools and insights needed to thrive in a challenging industry landscape.
